A player is injured by the opponent's follow through and requests time to recover. The ball was very close to the player and you would have given a stroke had the opponent asked for a let instead of playing the ball. How long is allowed for that according to Rule 14 (Illness, Injury and Bleeding)? You had not stopped play as you did not expect the opponent to play the ball.
